Snitcher integration

Snitcher tells you who visited. Personyze changes what they see.

Snitcher identifies the companies behind your anonymous traffic. Personyze uses that while the visit is still happening: the company becomes part of the visitor profile — industry, size, location, ICP tier and your own Snitcher tags and segments — so headlines, offers and calls to action can follow the account. No API key, and a two-minute setup.

Snitcher identifies, Personyze acts. The snippet asks Spotter once per page which company this is, and passes the answer to the visitor profile. It sends nothing anywhere else.

Why it matters

Knowing the company after the visit is a report. Knowing it during the visit is a page.

Snitcher is how many B2B teams see which companies read their site. On its own, that knowledge reaches sales later, in a list. Connected to Personyze, it reaches the website on the same visit: a software company and a manufacturer read the same homepage and get different sentences, and an account sales has tagged in Snitcher gets the page sales would want it to see.

Personyze does not identify anyone here. Snitcher resolves the company behind a visit; Personyze records what Snitcher returns and acts on it. Companies Snitcher does not recognise, and most home and mobile connections, record no company at all, so your default page stays the default.

What you can do

What Snitcher + Personyze unlocks

01

Target by firmographics

Industry, company size, country and city arrive as visitor attributes. Show software companies a different hero than manufacturers, send enterprise visitors to a demo request and small teams to a free trial.

02

Act on your own Snitcher labels

Companies you tag “Target Account”, your Snitcher segments and your ICP tiers become targeting rules. What sales marks in Snitcher changes what the website shows.

03

Use your custom company fields

Share an account owner, a renewal date or a contract tier with Spotter, add its key in Personyze, and it becomes an attribute too — for example to greet a known account by its account manager’s name.

04

Measure it

Every experience built on Snitcher data is an ordinary Personyze campaign, so it can be A/B tested against the default page, and read per segment.

Snitcher on, and the page names the company

Set up in the panel — Snitcher’s company data as visitor attributes, an audience by company size, and a home-page headline that names whichever company is visiting. Then do it with your own site.

How it works

How it works

Allow your site in SnitcherIn Snitcher, go to Settings → Integrations → Spotter and add your website’s domain. Spotter only answers on domains listed there. Spotter is included in every Snitcher plan.
Paste one snippetIn Personyze, open Settings → Integrations → Snitcher and copy the snippet. Put it on every page right after the Snitcher tracking script — or, with Google Tag Manager, as a second Custom HTML tag on All Pages.
Click Turn on SnitcherThis creates the visitor attributes and fills them: company, industry, company size, country, city, website, ICP tier, tags and segments. There is no API key to copy.
Target the accountBuild a condition on any of them — industry is Software, tags contain Target Account, ICP tier is A — and use it on any campaign, audience or report.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a Snitcher API key?
No. The integration uses Snitcher’s Spotter API, which is included in every Snitcher plan and authorises by the domains you allow in Snitcher, not by a key. It is not Snitcher’s separate “IP to Company” API product, and nothing extra needs to be bought.
Why is there a snippet?
Spotter answers a question the page has to ask — “which company is this?” — and the Snitcher tracker does not ask it by itself. The snippet asks once per page and passes the answer to Personyze. It is a few lines, sends nothing anywhere else, and does nothing on a visit Snitcher cannot identify.
Which fields do I get?
Company name, industry, company size, country, city and website, plus your own Snitcher data: ICP tier, the tags you put on companies, your segments, and any custom company fields you share with Spotter (added by key in Personyze).
How fast is the company available?
Snitcher looks the company up while the page loads, and Personyze records it as soon as the answer arrives — normally during the first page view, but not in its very first moment. When a rule excludes visitors by company, switch on “Only match after a value is recorded” so “not known yet” is not read as “does not match”.
Will every visitor be identified?
No, and no tool of this kind does. Snitcher recognises companies whose network it can resolve; home broadband and mobile connections usually are not companies, and then nothing is recorded. Testing from home usually shows no company — try from an office network.

Snitcher knows the company. Let the page know it too.

Allow your domain in Snitcher, paste one snippet and click once — then target the accounts that matter on their next page view. Or book a demo and we will show it on your site.
