Do I need a Leadinfo API key?
No. Leadinfo publishes no public API and offers no webhooks, so there is no key to issue. Personyze reads the identification their script has already completed in the visitor’s browser, which is why setup is a single switch.
Which fields do I get?
Company name and city, as the visitor attributes Leadinfo company and Leadinfo company city. Those are the two fields Leadinfo documents. If the response on your account carries more keys, you can add them by name from the integration’s settings.
Does it work without a Leadinfo account?
No. This reads Leadinfo’s own result, so it needs their subscription and their script on your site. If you have no company-identification tool yet, Personyze also integrates with Albacross, Leadfeeder, LeadRebel and ZoomInfo, which work from an API key instead.
Will every visitor be identified?
No, and no tool of this kind does. Leadinfo recognises companies whose network it can resolve; home broadband and mobile connections usually resolve to nothing, and then no company is recorded at all. When you exclude by company, switch on “Only match after a value is recorded” so a visit with no company does not fall into the rule by accident.
Is the company looked up on your servers?
No. It is read in the browser, where Leadinfo’s script has already fetched it. The company appears mid-page-load rather than at the first millisecond, and Personyze keeps re-reading the value during the page view, so a campaign matches on the same visit rather than the next one.
