Do I need a Demandbase key or any code?
No. The Demandbase tag on your site already carries your Demandbase key and looks the company up on every visit. Personyze only reads the answer the tag has fetched, so there is nothing to paste and no key to enter — one click turns it on.
What do I need?
A Demandbase subscription with the Demandbase tag on your website, and the Personyze tag on the same pages. If a consent tool holds the Demandbase tag back until a visitor accepts, the fields arrive once they accept.
Which fields do I get?
Eight out of the box: company, website, industry, sub-industry, employee range, revenue range, audience and audience segment. Any other field in Demandbase’s answer can be added by name, including the Account Connector fields your Demandbase admin shares with your website — they appear as “custom_fields_” followed by the field’s label.
How fast is the company available?
The Demandbase tag looks the company up while the page loads, and Personyze records each field as soon as it appears — normally during the first page view, but not in its very first instant. When a rule excludes visitors by company or audience, switch on “Only match after a value is recorded” so “not known yet” is not read as “does not match”.
Will every visitor be identified?
No. Demandbase recognizes companies whose network it can resolve; home broadband and mobile connections often do not resolve to a company, and then nothing is recorded. Testing from home usually shows no company — try from an office network Demandbase recognizes.
Does Personyze call Demandbase?
No. Personyze reads the answer the Demandbase tag already gave your page and keeps it on the visitor’s profile in your Personyze account. Nothing extra is sent to Demandbase or anywhere else.
