Personyze
WhatsApp chat button for your website

WhatsApp chat
while you’re open.

Visitors tap Chat with us and WhatsApp opens to your number, with a message that already names the page they were on. It is a Personyze campaign, so you decide who sees the button and when — by opening hours, country, device and page.

Put it in a corner or next to Add to Cart, add a Call us button, and A/B test it like anything else — for a store, a travel site, a clinic or a sales team.

Direct answers. No fluff.

The questions that come up before adding a WhatsApp chat button. Send anything else our way and we’ll answer fast.

How do I add a WhatsApp chat button to my website with Personyze?

In a Canvas design, choose Add element, then WhatsApp chat button (searching “whatsapp” finds it). Type your number with the country code, keep or change the message and the words, then place the design as a popup in a corner or in a spot on the page, and choose who sees it on the campaign’s Target step.

Do I need the WhatsApp Business API or an approved account?

No. The button opens WhatsApp’s own click-to-chat link to your number, so there is nothing to connect and no approval to wait for. Use the number your WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app already uses, in international format, with the country code.

Can I show the button only during opening hours?

Yes. Add a Date and Time rule to the campaign’s audience: days of the week, a time of day, and your time zone or the visitor’s local time. The rule reads when the visit started, so end it a little before you close if late visitors should not get the button. Outside those hours it is not shown — and the AI Chat Agent can take those hours instead.

Can I show it only in some countries, on phones, or on certain pages?

Yes — with the same rules as any Personyze campaign: Countries/Cities, Device Type and the pages it may appear on, combined with any other rule, such as traffic source, new or returning visitors, cart value or your CRM data. See behavioral targeting for all of them.

What does the pre-filled message say?

“Hi! I have a question about {page}”, where {page} becomes the title of the page the visitor is on when they tap (its address, when it has no title). You can change it to anything; visitor variables work, and each audience can have its own wording. The visitor can edit it before sending.

Can visitors call instead of chatting?

Yes. Tick Also offer a phone call and a second, white Call us button appears above the chat button. It dials the same number; you can rename either button.

Does Personyze see the WhatsApp conversations?

No. The button is a link to WhatsApp: the conversation happens between the visitor and your WhatsApp. Personyze counts the click on the button, like any campaign click, and can report it as a conversion goal.

Will it clash with the AI Chat or my other pop-ups?

The AI Chat’s button sits bottom right, so put this one bottom left. A corner shows one popup at a time: a corner popup waits while another popup holds that corner. Or place the button in the page instead, next to Add to Cart.

Open for chat, when you’re open.

Add the WhatsApp chat button to any Canvas design, choose where it shows and who sees it, and let the report tell you whether it earns its place.
