Webflow integration

Personalization for Webflow sites, without touching custom code

Webflow makes building a beautiful site easy. Personalizing it usually means copying a snippet into custom code settings and hoping it landed in the right place. The Personyze Webflow integration removes that step: connect Webflow from Personyze, choose your site, click Add tag — then publish in Webflow when you are ready.

Add tag
After Add tagTag added — one step leftPublish the site in Webflow. The tag is live from that publish on.

You publish, not Personyze. Nothing unfinished in the Designer goes live with the tag. The site’s domain was added to your tracked domains automatically.

Why it matters

Webflow builds the page. Personyze decides what each visitor sees on it.

Webflow is where your pages are designed and published, and it is very good at that. What it does not do is change a page for the visitor in front of it — the headline for a returning customer, the case study for their industry, the offer for someone who came from a paid ad. Doing that has meant pasting a tracking snippet into site settings, or a ticket for whoever looks after the site.

The integration makes that a click instead, and it leaves the one decision that matters with you: Personyze adds its tag to the site’s head code, and the tag goes live the next time you publish. Personyze never publishes your site, so it can never push half-finished Designer work live along with it.

What you get

What Webflow + Personyze unlocks

01

One click, no code to paste

Connect Webflow from Integrations → Webflow, pick the site, click Add tag. There is no snippet to copy and nothing to paste into Webflow’s custom code settings.

02

You stay in control of publishing

Personyze adds the tag; you publish. The tag is live from your next publish in Webflow, and never before — so unfinished Designer changes stay unfinished until you say otherwise.

03

The details are handled

Your site’s domain is added to your tracked domains automatically. The tag follows your consent mode setting, and each site shows Installed or Update available, so you can see where it needs attention.

04

Everything Personyze does, on Webflow

Personalize any page by audience, behavior, traffic source, company or visit history; recommend content and products to returning visitors; A/B test headlines, layouts and calls to action without rebuilding pages; show banners, pop-ups and slide-ins from Personyze’s visual editor.

How it works

Connect it in four steps

Connect WebflowIn Personyze, open Integrations → Webflow and click Connect Webflow. On Webflow’s screen, choose the site — or the whole Workspace — and click Authorize App.
Add the tagYour sites are listed in the same window. Click Add tag next to the one you want. Personyze adds any of the site’s domains your account is missing, and tells you which.
Publish in WebflowOpen the site in Webflow and click Publish. The tag is live from that publish on — Personyze starts reporting traffic within a few minutes.
Build campaigns in PersonyzeAudiences, banners, recommendations and A/B tests are built and published in Personyze from then on. Nothing more to add to Webflow, and nothing to republish for each campaign.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I add Personyze to a Webflow site?
In Personyze, open Integrations → Webflow, click Connect Webflow and authorize the site on Webflow’s screen. Click Add tag next to the site, then publish the site in Webflow. The tag is live from that publish.
Does Personyze publish my Webflow site?
No, never. Personyze adds its tag to the site’s head code, and the tag goes live the next time you publish in Webflow. That is deliberate: publishing for you would also push any unfinished Designer changes live. The same applies when you update or remove the tag — it takes effect when you publish.
What does Personyze get access to in Webflow?
Two permissions only: to read and edit your sites, and to read and edit your sites’ custom code. It uses them to list the sites you shared and to add, update or remove its own tag — nothing else on your site is read or changed. You choose which sites it can see on Webflow’s authorization screen.
Does it work on Webflow’s free plan?
Yes. It works on any Webflow site, including sites on Webflow’s free plan — and that is tested, not assumed. A site with no custom domain is tracked on its webflow.io address, which Personyze adds for you.
Does it sync my Webflow CMS collections or Ecommerce products?
No. The integration adds the Personyze tag, and that is all it does — it does not sync CMS collections or Ecommerce products, and it adds nothing to the Designer. Personyze renders its banners, recommendations and tests on the published page itself.
What does “Update available” mean?
An older version of the tag is on that site — most often because your consent mode setting changed after the tag was added. Click Update, then publish the site in Webflow.
Can I still install the tag by hand?
Yes. Copy the tracking code from Settings → Tracking code in Personyze and paste it into Webflow’s site-wide head code (Site settings → Custom code). The integration simply saves you that step and keeps the tag current.

One click in Personyze. One publish in Webflow.

Connect Webflow, add the tag, publish when you are ready, and build the first campaign the same afternoon. Or book a demo and we will show it on a site like yours.
