Under the hood

How Personyze personalizes this telecom site.

Every element in the demo is driven by a real Personyze capability. Here’s what powers each part.

01

First-Time Visitor (Anonymous)

When a new user lands on the site, we lack specific history. To maximize relevance, the personalization engine defaults to a "Best Sellers" strategy combined with IP Geolocation. The hero invites visitors to check availability, the grid shows a broad plan mix — Fiber 300, a mesh router and a TV bundle — and new customers see a $300 switching offer. 02

CRM Targeting (Existing Subscriber)

For the logged-in user or recognized cookie, the system pulls data from the CRM. We recognize this account is on the Fiber 300 plan with high monthly usage. Explore Recommendation Engine

  • Hero Banner: Changes to "Welcome back, Jordan" with an at-a-glance view of their account.
  • Product Grid: Shows upgrades and add-ons for their plan — Fiber 1 Gig, a whole-home mesh add-on and premium tech support.
  • Offer: A loyalty offer: three months of 1 Gig speed, free.
03

Firmographic Targeting (Business Visitor)

This visitor is browsing from a business IP range. A firmographic rule identifies them as a business visitor. See Behavioral Targeting

  • Action: The homepage switches to business plans with SLAs — dedicated fiber, VoIP lines and managed WiFi — with a Talk to Sales CTA.
  • Goal: Route business visitors to the right plans and a sales conversation, with two months free on annual business plans.
04

Content Personalization

Personalization isn't just for products. To build authority and trust, we dynamically inject relevant blog posts. New visitors see speed and WiFi guides, existing subscribers see tips on autopay and upgrading to gig, and business visitors see articles on uptime SLAs, VoIP and multi-site networking. This keeps users engaged longer.

Technical Summary:
This demo utilizes real-time user segmentation. The content (hero images, product grids, and coupon codes) is swapped dynamically using the Personyze WYSIWYG Page Editor, Promotion Manager, and Recommendation Widgets, based on the detected "Persona ID". In a live environment, this is handled by Personyze's server-side or client-side injection logic.

Questions

Questions about this example

How does Personyze personalize a telecom or ISP website?

It sorts visitors into audiences — anonymous visitors by location, existing subscribers by CRM data such as plan and usage, and business visitors by firmographic signals — and shows each audience its own hero, plans, offer and articles.

How are existing subscribers recognized?

When account data such as the current plan is passed to Personyze from your CRM for a logged-in or recognized visitor, rules can target it to show upgrades and add-ons instead of acquisition offers.

Can business visitors see different plans from home users?

Yes. In this example a visit from a business network triggers a firmographic rule that swaps the consumer plans for business plans with SLAs and a Talk to Sales call to action.
