How do I add Personyze to a Webflow site?
In Personyze, open Integrations → Webflow, click Connect Webflow and authorize the site on Webflow’s screen. Click Add tag next to the site, then publish the site in Webflow. The tag is live from that publish.
Does Personyze publish my Webflow site?
No, never. Personyze adds its tag to the site’s head code, and the tag goes live the next time you publish in Webflow. That is deliberate: publishing for you would also push any unfinished Designer changes live. The same applies when you update or remove the tag — it takes effect when you publish.
What does Personyze get access to in Webflow?
Two permissions only: to read and edit your sites, and to read and edit your sites’ custom code. It uses them to list the sites you shared and to add, update or remove its own tag — nothing else on your site is read or changed. You choose which sites it can see on Webflow’s authorization screen.
Does it work on Webflow’s free plan?
Yes. It works on any Webflow site, including sites on Webflow’s free plan — and that is tested, not assumed. A site with no custom domain is tracked on its webflow.io address, which Personyze adds for you.
Does it sync my Webflow CMS collections or Ecommerce products?
No. The integration adds the Personyze tag, and that is all it does — it does not sync CMS collections or Ecommerce products, and it adds nothing to the Designer. Personyze renders its banners, recommendations and tests on the published page itself.
What does “Update available” mean?
An older version of the tag is on that site — most often because your consent mode setting changed after the tag was added. Click Update, then publish the site in Webflow.
Can I still install the tag by hand?
Yes. Copy the tracking code from Settings → Tracking code in Personyze and paste it into Webflow’s site-wide head code (Site settings → Custom code). The integration simply saves you that step and keeps the tag current.
