Personyze sends campaign matches to Meta’s Conversions API from its own servers — as events, not as a customer list — so Meta can build a website custom audience from the people who actually convert on your site, and a lookalike from that. A token from Events Manager is all it takes.

Why it matters
The audience Meta cannot see is the one that converts.
Meta builds lookalikes from its own view of your site — the pixel. It never sees the catalogue interactions, the campaign responses or the session history that separate a browser from a buyer. Personyze does, and Audience Discovery finds the groups that convert far above average from exactly that behaviour.
Push to ad platforms sends the people in such an audience to Meta continuously, as they match. Meta keys a custom audience on the event, and you build the lookalike from it. The under-performers go over the same way as a suppression audience — the group to exclude from spend.
What you can do
What Meta + Personyze unlocks
01
Custom audiences from your own signals
Any campaign audience — hand-written or discovered — becomes a website custom audience in Meta, keyed on the event name you chose.
02
Lookalikes from people who convert
Build the lookalike from a source that behaved, not one that merely visited. Meta needs at least 100 people from one country in the source audience.
03
Suppression, the faster win
An audience that converts far below average is pushed as an audience to exclude. That saves spend this week rather than needing a new campaign to work.
04
Matching the people without an email
Ad platform matching is one switch on the Meta card. It captures the browser id and click id Meta recognises people by, so matching reaches the two thirds of an audience who never gave you an email.
How it works
How it works
Connect MetaSettings → Integrations → Meta. Paste the access token from Events Manager and the dataset id. No app, no App Review.
Switch on Ad platform matchingOne switch on the same card. From the next page view, visitors carry the identifiers Meta matches on. Coverage grows over the following days as people return.
Send an audienceOn a discovered audience, press Push to ad platforms and tick Meta — or add the Send Event action to any campaign and choose a Meta event name. Give the event a value and currency if you want value-based lookalikes.
Build the audience in MetaEvents Manager shows the event within minutes of publishing. Create a website custom audience on it, then a lookalike from that audience.
No. It sends events through the Conversions API; Meta builds the audience on its side. That is why it needs no App Review and no ad-account permissions, why no customer file leaves the account, and why nothing has to be removed later — Meta re-derives the audience from the event stream on its own retention window.
Do I need the Meta pixel on my site?
No. Events are sent from Personyze’s servers, whether or not the pixel is on the page. Ad platform matching captures the identifiers on pages that carry the Personyze tag, which for a live customer is every page.
How many of my visitors will Meta match?
Matching on email alone reaches only the visitors who ever gave you one — about a third of an audience on a real account. With Ad platform matching on, the browser and click identifiers reach the rest.
Can I build a value-based lookalike?
Yes, if the event carries a value. Set an event value and currency on the action — a number or any visitor column — and Meta can optimise toward the people worth the most, not just the most people.
Which event names should I use?
Meta only optimises for its own standard names, so choose the matching one in the Meta event name field — ViewContent, AddToCart, Purchase and so on. Your own name still goes to every other destination.
Find who converts. Let Meta find more of them.
Connect Meta in a minute, switch on matching, and push the first discovered audience. Or book a demo and see it on your own account.
