Recommendation Algorithm

The People Also Viewed e-commerce recommendation algorithm shows items that were frequently viewed by customers who also viewed the current item, on the product page. Sometimes referred to as “Customers also viewed” this algorithm harnesses crowd wisdom to drastically increase your sales and overall revenue.

Works on Shopify, Magento, WordPress, WooCommerce, and any other website platform.

In Electronics:

A customer viewing a tablet may see frequently viewed together recommendations for other tablets and related devices that customers who viewed this one also viewed. Filter by category, to show only the same type of device.

In Fashion:

When a customer is viewing a pair of pants, the recommendation will show other similar pants and items that users who viewed these pants also viewed. You can also filter so that it only shows the same color, brand, etc.

In Toys:

The toy currently being viewed will have a recommendation of similar toys that those who viewed this toy also looked at while shopping. Filter based on price, such as only show products more or less expensive.

In Travel:

When a customer is viewing a flight, the algorithm can show them similar flights which were viewed by others who viewed this same flight they're looking at now. Use the shopper's search settings to filter the recommendations.

Use the slider to see the cross-sale product recommendations with product bundling on the product listing page for each visitor. If the customer or product are new and don’t have enough data for the People Also Viewed algorithm, you can even set fallback recommendations.

When a visitor recently shopped at your store and/or added items to cart without checking out, you can follow-up in an email with this recommendation, to show them items that were also viewed with their most popular or added-to-cart item(s).
