The Frequently Bought Together algorithm shows products which other users frequently bought with either the item currently being viewed, or the items currently in the visitor’s cart.

This recommendation can be embedded on the site, displayed as a popup, or sent in an email. The most ideal display locations for the most frequently bought together recommendation are on cart pages, product listing pages, or in purchase follow-up remarketing emails.

In our work with clients, we have seen this type of widget lead to an average increase in order value of more than 25%, and without fail they always say they can’t believe they’ve never used it until now. This is simply one of the most effective recommendations for increasing conversion and cart values at checkout.

We also have included in this widget the capability to add items to a wishlist, so that the visitor can save items which go together, to be shown later on the checkout page, their home page on their next visit, or in re-marketing emails.

As with all Personyze recommendations, you can also display this widget in the form of a popup, which can trigger after an item is added to cart, or you can embed it into pages, such as below the product listing.
